Freshcon, a rapidly growing D2C brand in the food and beverage space, seeks a dynamic and experienced professional to lead its D2C business. The company’s D2C channel is experiencing exponential growth, and this individual will be responsible for driving the next phase of its expansion. This is a critical leadership role for someone who can think strategically and act independently to scale the company’s D2C operations.  

Now expanding presence in both General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels, the company is entering an exciting phase of scale-up and brand consolidation.

As Freshcon gears up for aggressive growth, we are looking to onboard a dynamic Sales Head who can lead national sales operations, drive channel excellence, and build a robust distribution network across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the national sales strategy covering General Trade, Modern Trade, and Distribution.
  • Build, lead, and mentor regional sales teams to deliver consistent business growth.
  • Drive expansion into new geographies and ensure effective market coverage.
  • Manage and optimize distributor networks, including appointment, ROI analysis, and performance monitoring.
  • Lead partnerships and negotiations with modern trade accounts – both local and national retail chains.
  • Ensure execution excellence through strong trade marketing, visibility, and activation plans.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and provide strategic inputs to management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure business alignment.
  • Track competition and market movements to identify growth opportunities.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 10–15 years of experience in FMCG sales, with strong exposure to both General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels.
  • Proven experience handling local and national retail chains.
  • Demonstrated success in distributor management and territory expansion.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – ability to think strategically while executing on the ground.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Stable career track record with tangible sales growth achievements.
  • Candidates with entrepreneurial or startup experience in FMCG will be preferred.
