Role Overview
As an Area Sales Manager (ASM), you will be responsible for driving primary and secondary sales, expanding distribution, and leading a sales team within your assigned territory. This is a frontline leadership role where you will work closely with distributors, retailers, and stockists to ensure market share growth and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales, distribution, and visibility targets for the assigned territory.
- Recruit, manage, and motivate Sales Officers, Distributor Salesmen, and other field staff.
- Appoint, develop, and strengthen the distributor & stockist network.
- Monitor primary and secondary sales, ensuring achievement of monthly/quarterly targets.
- Implement trade promotions, schemes, and activations to drive market share.
- Ensure regular beat planning and effective coverage of retail outlets.
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and new launches; share market intelligence with HO.
- Train and develop sales team to improve productivity and market execution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, reporting systems, and audit requirements.
Who Can Apply
- Bachelor/MBA with 5-10 years of FMCG non food sales experience (personal care/cosmetics preferred).
- Proven track record of managing distributors and sales teams.
- Strong understanding of FMCG sales processes, trade marketing, and retail execution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
