  • Job Description:
    1. Technical Specialist
    – To have complete knowledge of products & product segments and to understand their usage across customer segments
    – To ensure complete coverage of customers in the region for technical assistance on a monthly basis, as per the plan created by Senior / Regional Culinarian
    – To conduct regular demonstrations for the customers to enhance product performance and to also enhance customer’s product application repertoire and recipes
    – To increase awareness among customers about various possibilities to utilize range of products in each segment
    – To offer relevant ideas and solutions to customers for any challenges related to product range
    – To provide the sales team with product knowledge and usage details
    – To continuously work with seniors on ideas for developing new applications/recipes for customer
    2. Customer Focus (Internal & External)
    – To support seniors in conducting demonstrations and exhibitions of products for the region in order to enhance brand visibility and brand image
    – To provide support to Main Distributors / Sub-Distributors when they participate in demonstrations/exhibitions; provide material and expert support to them
    – To support the seniors in conducting workshops for educating end customers and channel partners on products, application of products, quality standards followed by the company; create awareness on adulteration of products prevailing in the market and how they can identify such products. Ultimately, enhancing brand equity of the company.
    – To collaborate with Marketing for Public Relations activities
    – To organize lectures, workshops, audio-visual shows, culinary shows etc. in catering colleges and food technology institutes as a part of branding exercise
    – To contribute to recipe newsletter and other communication tools
    – To assist in creating different brand promotional shoots
    3. Market Intelligence, Reporting & Building Professional Network
    – To provide genuine customer feedback regarding the product quality and challenges faced while using the product, on a monthly basis to Senior / Regional Culinarian
    – To provide monthly reports to Senior / Regional Culinarian on Plan v/s Target achievement
    – To study and analyze products of competitors available in the region and to pass on the information to Sales Team and to Senior / Regional Culinarian
    – To collaborate with Sales and Marketing team to create a profile of customers which will include
    their product preference, the applications in which they use Products, their feedback about
    the products (including challenges faced while using) and their demand pattern
    – To use work relationships and networking skills to get information from end customers, traders, retailers, sub-distributors and main distributors on competitor’s products
    – To participate in Industry Forums to stay updated on developments happening in the industry and to network with industry professionals
    4. Knowledge Sharing
    – To participate in knowledge sharing sessions within the team to share information on customers, market trends, competitor product strategy, common challenges faced and ways to overcome them
    – To participate in training sessions conducted by Regional / National Culinarian to enhance their range of recipes and applications
  • Experience: 3 + years of culinary experience in a Hotel/Cruiseline/Restaurant/Bakery
  • Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management
